Burritt on the Mountain

Completed: 2012 • 2021

Square Footage: 7,750 (Baron Bluff) • 3,500 (Burritt Pavilion)

Baron Bluff

Baron Bluff at Burritt on the Mountain was constructed in 2012 as a unique event venue on top of Monte Sano. Designed by Fuqua & Partners Architects, many design elements were inspired by the historic 1887 Monte Sano Hotel, which holds a rich history in the Huntsville community. The hotel’s design inspired many details in the project including a 16-foot wide porch with heavy timber framing, iron railings, and large stained glass windows. There are several architectural elements inside the building that came from the Monte Sano Hotel which was torn down in 1944.

Burritt Pavilion

In 2021, we were once again able to work with Fuqua & Partner Architects at Burritt to construct a 3,500 square foot pavilion. This pavilion offers extended event space and was constructed using heavy timber framing with stone accents.
